The capybara is known for its gentle and friendly nature. Photos and videos often appear online showing it resting peacefully alongside other animals or enjoying a soak in hot springs. It is precisely its relaxed demeanour and ability to get on with almost anyone that have made it a symbol of calm, tranquillity and good humour.
