To make this crochet project, you will need:

Acrylic yarn in several colours. For example, purple, pink and white. You will also need a little red yarn for the nose.

Body

The body consists of individual balls, which we will crochet as a single piece.

Ball 1 (purple)

Row 3: Increase every second Sc (18)

Row 4: Increase every third Sc (24)

Row 5: Increase every fourth Sc (30)

Row 6: Sc one round

Row 7: Decrease every fourth Sc (24)

Row 8: Sc one round

Row 9: Decrease every third Sc (18)

Row 10: Sc one round

Row 11: Decrease every second Sc (12)

Row 12: Decrease every Sc (6); in the last single crochet, change colour to pink


Ball 2 (pink)

Head (purple yarn)

Row 1: 8 Sc into the magic ring

Row 2: 2 Sc in each stitch around (16)

Row 6: Sc one round

Row 7: Decrease every fourth Sc (32)

Row 8: Sc one round

Attach the safety eyes between rows 4 and 5, fasten off and sew onto the body.


Antennae (2 x, pink)

7 chain stitches. Then crochet 6 single crochets. Fasten off. Sew the antennae onto the head using a tapestry needle.


Nose (red)

6 single crochets into a magic ring; close the ring with a slip stitch and sew the nose onto the head.
